In the past time I once learned this. No one can get rid from pain and suffer. As a gift of that pain, we get suffer. Suffering comes after pain. It is a law. Pain and suffer like Needle & Thread. Pain is an unavoidable part of life, be it emotional or physical. On a personal level, I think it means that each person has the choice of dealing with the pain with aplomb. why we are suffering? suffering from a fail, departure, suffering from congestive heart failure. Why we are going though suffering? Pain is eternal. But suffering is optional! Don’t you think so . I do. The old adage, 'Pain is inevitable but suffering is optional' is attributed to no one person in particular, but instead recognized as a Buddhist proverb. Actually it is in the First Noble Truth of the Buddhist Sangha. What pain do you hold inside of you today? How can you resolve to bring yourself from the island of pain to the mainland of peace? Suffering, or pain in a broad sense, is an experience of unpleasantness and a version associated with the perception of harm or threat of harm in an individual. life is a challenge, we heve to face it. But some times some disappointments lead us to suffer whenever the movements we remember, though we severely trying to forget the incident. It's all of this that I describe that I just love about life. We wish if we could, stop that happenings of bad things from our lives. erase that portion of happenings. But can we hold pain? Whether it's sad or happy, we must love our own lives than other things in the world.
Depressing, discouraging, griefing, disappointing things always bring inconvenience to many of our lives. Whether it physical or emotional pain, not something we can choose. It is a feeling of stuck, difficulty of breathing, living and spending with remembering every moment. some days I realized some religious things work for me to get normal. Participating to meritorious acts can fix broken life. Also meditation is the same medic for refreshing minds. After the death of a loved one or depature of a loved ones, leaning into the pain is a daily event. Each new day brings with it new challenges. But we get out of bed, we move forward with the day, and the pain eventually subsides and the heart heals. When it comes to exercise, it took several good coaches to push me through the pain to where I now can lean into it on my own.
Let me tell you one thing, also sorrow is inevitable. I'm telling you. It creeps into everyone's life. But there is way to fight with it. Like this. Pretend life is a boxing ring and unhappiness is your opponent. It appears before you , don't afraid. Look straight into its eyes. Understand and gauge its strength. But don't forget that unhappiness is a very strong opponnent. Now start to fighting. It will first get you in the face. You will be hurt. But no worries, keep fighting. With the next hit , you will fall. But the trick is to stand up and face it. Because if you give up , then every punch will fill your eyes with tears. Every jab will steal the smile from your lips. It will force its way into your home santch away all happiness. By the last round everything you love will be finished. So don't let sorrow to invade your beautiful life. The small pieces from our past, There are always safe in our memories. Memories are like chocolate boxes. Once open, you can't stop at just once. But if you have with tough heart then you can stop at just once. Give it some time. You have to make your life...your career. No time for suffer. Everything will be OK. Finally the point... Pain is a part of life. Suffering is a choice that we make, or we don't.

Is is correct the word you used "inevitable", for describing pain, sorrow etc. I don't think so. There is nothing inevitable on this earth. But I like your wordings.

ReplyDeleteYes, your own answer is good. You can never feel sorrow in your body, it's of the mind or the soul, but sorrow can lead to physical pain or indeed, we sometimes say heart-ache for when we're so sad it seems to hurt almost physically. Here I was trying to tell although the things are uncertain in the world but some mental activities are not like that. as a example : It pains me to see the suffering of the Street Kids, my heart aches for them. It comes automatically. So that's why I used that mean "inevitable". Thnks for your comment දේශක යා ...

Suffering is not a answer for a matter, No need to fight even, stay beside & see, all Matters are fading away.. Coz Time gives the answer :)

ReplyDeleteyep machan. I agree with u. Many of suffering matters can heal by time. let the time for give the answer...And time will give us answer...Thanx Sam...
Always there are two ways of looking at a certain thing. Say for example you failed an exam. you can either think it is the end of the world or you can accept it as a challenge and try again and again until you pass it. I think it is the sate of the mind of each individual that make his life a hell or a heaven. It is definitely not easy to put all the bad things behind and move forward..but if you can, nothing can ever let you down.
ReplyDeleteYep..I agree with you Chams. A positive attitude is everything. In virtually every situation there are 2 ways of looking at things. One more positive, one more negative. If u r going thru negative way, As you say try again and again until you pass it.
Delete//Pain is inevitable, Suffering is optional// very true…
ReplyDeleteEveryone goes through pain, and you cannot avoid it, but you do not have to suffer. If you hold onto the pain without letting it go u suffer…:)
Thanks Podi Kumarihami. As I say It creeps into everyone's life. But there are ways to fight with it.
